My first attempt at ever using DSTAR. I only have one radio that does DSTAR and that is my IC705 and so I am limited in RF distance on VHF/UHF due to 10 watts total output. With that said I wasnt able to hit any local digital repeaters. I did perform a simplex DSTAR QSO and then set up my Jumbo Hotspot to act as a gateway to the DSTAR Reflector network via internet. So some programming discussion and then live tests of DSTAR.
