Happy Thanksgiving to all of Denver Broncos Country! I’m incredibly thankful for this year of covering the team with all of you. It’s been an amazing journey watching this young, hungry team grow, and I truly believe we haven’t even scratched the surface of our potential.

We’ve also got plenty of news and reports today to make us even more thankful!

First, J.J. Watt went on The Pat McAfee Show and declared that, thanks to our ownership group, Sean Payton, and Bo Nix, the Denver Broncos are now a freeagent destination. As we speculate about players like Tee Higgins and other top free agents who’ll have the freedom to choose their next team, it’s awesome to hear an unbiased perspective affirm that the Broncos are back as a premier destination.

Next, let’s talk about George Paton’s incredible draft classes, which have been a huge reason for this team’s resurgence. Jonah Elliss is among the top four rookie sack leaders, Devaughn Vele—a seventhrounder!—is in the top 10 of rookie pass catchers, and of course, Bo Nix has been the crown jewel of the entire NFL draft class. If Paton keeps drafting like this, the Broncos are going to be a force for years to come.

Speaking of Bo Nix, hearing national analysts join the Bo Nix bandwagon gives us even more reason to be thankful. After eight long years of the quarterback carousel, we finally have a QB who looks like the undeniable future of this franchise.

Lastly, Sean Payton’s confidence and coaching ability are yet another reason to be grateful. His brilliance and swagger may come off as cocky at times, but I’m thrilled and thankful he’s our coach, leading this team to brighter days.
