There are many ways to acquire exotic weapons and armour in Destiny. This is probably the easiest. Find Xur, the agent of the 9 when he appears in the tower. When he is in the tower he will sell some of the best exotic weapons and armour for strange coins. These coins are rare and are hard to acquire.
