Detecting an antigen with an ELISA test

Follow
Nils at USF

Welcome back into the Human Anatomy and Physiology lab! This video describes the protocol that we carry in this lab at USF to detect the presence of a specific antigen. Although some protocols may do things a bit differently, here we use the protocol and the tools provided in the BioRad ELISA Immuno explorer kit.

I am not a trained health professional and I am not teaching how to perform such protocol outside a classroom through this video.
This video is just a way to show Human A&P students how to perform a basic ELISA test to detect the presence of an antigen

If you have any comments that you think can benefit the video and add valuable information please do not hesitate to share with everyone. But if you have critiques, please keep them for yourself; they are neither useful nor constructive and simply may not apply to the circumstances (I am just demonstrating techniques applicable to an introductory course in Human A&P and I do not pretend to be a certified laboratory technician).
