Amazon EMR is the industryleading cloud big data platform for processing vast amounts of data using open source tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Apache HBase, Apache Flink, Apache Hudi, and Presto. Amazon EMR Studio is a new integrated development environment (IDE) for EMR that makes it easy for data scientists and data engineers to develop, visualize, and debug big data applications. Join this tech talk to learn how you can use Jupyter Notebooks, debug with tools like Spark UI and YARN Timeline Service, and collaborate with peers using GitHub and BitBucket all within the EMR Studio IDE. We'll show you how to get EMR Studio up and running, how to connect to a GitHub repository with notebooks in it, how to run Python and PySpark kernels, and how to schedule your notebooks as part of a data pipeline.
