Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, the upcoming MMORPG from Visionary Realms has taken a ton of negative press recently. First with an art change that at best recieved mix reviews followed by the announcement of A test mode in the game called 247 which riled up backers and casual watchers of the MMO's development, earning the ire of no small number of potential players.

Even I was upset.

But in the wake of that backlash, Pantheon has done what many, myself included, didn't expect. They're getting rid of the 247 mode. They're opening up, at least temporarily, a few MMO tests to Alpha backers. (though the game is still in prealpha as of this video)

Visionary Realms heard their community and acted on it in a way I don't often see. The most recent example is probably NCSoft of all things by removing Autoplay.

But is it enough? Will this help Pantheon move forward? Only time will tell. But at I am at least more hopeful now than I was just a few weeks ago.
