It’s great to be back with yet another episode of Better than the best. This time it’s all our favourite Domino’s Choco Lava Cake !

Here’s the recipe
Choco Lava Cake (With egg):
Ingredients :
Dark Chocolate 75 gms
Milk Chocolate 25 gms
Butter 100 gm
Powdered Sugar 100 gms
Egg 2 nos
Egg Yolk 2 nos
Vanilla Essence ¼ tsp
Maida 50 gms


Instructions:
1. Melt the butter, add the chopped chocolate and stir to melt completely.
2. Add the eggs and yolks and whisk well to combine.
3. Add the sugar and whisk well to melt the sugar.
4. Finally add the maida and cocoa powder and whisk until just combined.
7. Coat the mold with softened butter and dust with cocoa powder.
8. Bake in the preheated oven at 180C for 12 mins. The top will be set with a wobble centre.
9. Cool completely before serving. The dessert may or may not be demolded.



Eggless Choco Lava Cake
Dark chocolate 75 gms
Butter 30 gms
Condensed Milk 60 gms
Hot Water 60 gms
Maida 40 gms
Powdered Sugar 2 tbsp
Cocoa Powder 10 gms
Baking Powder A Pinch
Vanilla Essence ¼ tsp

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, melt the butter and add the chopped chocolate and str to melt.
2. Add the hot water, condensed milk, sugar and vanilla essence. Whisk to combine.
3. In another cup, combine the maida, cocoa powder and baking powder.
4. Add the dry into the wet ingredients and whisk to combine well.
5. Coat the mold with softened butter and dust with cocoa powder.
6. Bake in the preheated oven at 180C for 12 mins. The top will be set with a wobble centre.
7. Cool completely before serving. This cannot be demolded, serve in the mold.
