Es ist mittlerweile für einige sächsische Gartenbahner zu einer sehr schönen Tradition geworden, einmal im Jahr gemeinsam für einige Tage den Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB) einen Besuch abzustatten, sich Fahrtwind um die Ohren wehen zu lassen, das Gesehene bildlich festzuhalten, die vielen Eindrücke mit nach Hause zu nehmen, wovon die eigene Gartenbahn sehr profitiert und sich dadurch dem großen Vorbild immer mehr annähern kann.
Jedes Jahr gibt es Neues zu beobachten. Die Borkenkäferplage mit den absterbenden Wäldern vermittelt uns heute ganz andere Bilder, als man es jahrelang gewohnt war. Wo Schatten ist, ist auch Licht und in diesem Fall ergeben sich neue und sehr interessante Fotopunkte, die vor Jahren noch von dichtem Wald umgeben waren.
Apropos Fotofreunde, wovon viele unterwegs waren. Da konnte in Quedlinburg beobachtet werden, wie sich beide Seiten, sprich HSB und Fotofreunde, nicht gerade mit Ruhm bekleckert haben….
The Harz narrowgauge railways in late summer 2023, part 1 of 2
It has now become a very nice tradition for some Saxon garden railway enthusiasts to visit the Harz narrowgauge railways (HSB) together for a few days once a year, to let the wind blow around their ears, to capture what they have seen with pictures and to take in the many impressions To take it home, from which your own garden railway benefits greatly and can therefore come closer and closer to the great role model.
Every year there is something new to observe. The bark beetle plague with the dying forests gives us completely different images today than we were used to for years. Where there is shadow, there is also light and in this case new and very interesting photo points arise that years ago were still surrounded by dense forest.
Speaking of photography friends, many of whom were out and about. It was possible to observe in Quedlinburg, how both sides didn't exactly cover each other with glory...
