He has acted in films since 1964. He played in many famous films “The Twentieth Century”, “Federico Fellini’s Casanova”, “Pride and Prejudice”, “The Hunger Games” and others. He died on June 20, 2024 at the age of 89.

2. James Chance (April 20, 1953 June 18, 2024)
On June 18, one of the fathers of no_wave music, James Chance, died.
Aka James White, aka James Siegfried, American singer and musician, saxophonist and keyboard player, one of the key figures in the New York no wave scene. James was born in 1953 in Milwaukee. He is best known for his participation in Lydia Lunch's venture Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, which they cocreated, and James Chance & The Contortions.

His brother David announced his passing at the age of 72. The cause of death has not been announced. It is only noted that James' health has been deteriorating in recent years. The last performance of the “no wave” icon took place in 2019.
