Diehard Motorcycle Brand Loyalty || Why its Toxic to some

When brand loyalty gets extreme and all of a sudden that new Sportster you financed is being questioned by your peers to even be a real Harley, you know there is a much bigger problem. I have met guys who have questioned their 1200 Sportster purchase within the first week, and traded in their Sportster soon after; taking huge financial hits both in the trade in and new bike just to fit in better within their social biker circle. I am sure the dealership loves this practice, but I think it is not fair. Treat everyone on two wheels with the same respect, even the dude who is on the 125cc scoot who delivers your food because to be honest, he takes MORE risks daily on two wheels than you probably do in a month or two.

All manufacturers make these models for our enjoyment, and while some brand loyalty is always very good, it can also be VERY toxic and depressing to some.

Have you ever been mocked because of your ride whether it be make or model? Shame on them.

Has a brand loyalist tried to preach to you why his bike/brand is superior to yours or all others? Shame on them.

Have you been made fun of for riding a lesser class model within your make? Shame on them 10x.

Don't hold yourself back from trying and enjoying all makes and models of motorcycles.

AND MOST IMPORTANT, DON'T BE THAT GUY!
