Result areas are groups of key performance indicators and job goals, let's see the differences while creating a mock evaluation for Joe.

Joe has 2 result areas, Company core values, and Office policy compliance, and each has their own KPIs as you can see here.

Joe’s manager Ronald evaluates him on the company core values, and Carolina from HR evaluates Joe for office policy compliance.

Joe also has a job goal of getting a crane operator certification, this is being evaluated by the organizations certification manager Lisa. As we setup this goal for Joe we can schedule a periodic evaluation that goes out to Lisa until the goal has been achieved.

Lets schedule an evaluation for Joe that goes out every month to his 3 evaluators.

Pick the periodic evaluation from the evaluation list, add an appropriate title, select the evaluation frequency, select Joe from persons to be evaluated. Enter the evaluators names and use the default result area to send the specific evaluation to each evaluator.

See the first evaluations fly out immediately. You can see them all in the evaluation records, copy the link to see how the evaluation looks.

The first one sent to Ronald has all the KPIs defining their company core values.

The second one sent to Carolina has all of the office compliance KPIs.

The third one sent to Lisa evaluates Joe's efforts toward the crane operator certification, Lisa seems pretty confident about Joe getting that certification it looks like :)
