I practise both methods, nodig at home and double dig at my family's garden up the road.

I'll show you how I plant potatoes in both settings using the same variety and stock of first early Pentland Javelin potatoes and run through the benefits and drawbacks of both methods. In a couple of months' time I'll also be able to show you our results as we carry out our first potato harvest of 2023.
