The sword play “Sangokushi Engi: Sun Wu” opened at the Meijiza Theater in Tokyo on Friday, April 5, 2024. This is a new original dual story inspired by “Sangokushi Yanyi” and planned by Aramaki Yoshihiko, a top runner in the 2.5 dimensional stage. Aramaki plays the lead role of Zhou Yu, a general in the service of the Sun family, and Mizuki Umezu plays the other lead role of Sun Tse, a general of Wu.

Other cast members include Ryota Hirono, Sho Tomita, Tomoyuki Takagi, Naoya Gomoto, Masanori Tomita, Yuki Saotome, who has appeared in numerous productions including Gekidan Shinkansen, Yuki Tamaki, and Toshio Matsumoto (EXILE), who used to perform as EXILE performer MATSU. The world of the epic story “Sangokushi” is brought to life with sword fighting and action.
