In 1967, Dinky introduced the Mercedes 250 SE model, with the then innovative function of the rear stop lights. Turning on was done by pressing the rear suspension. This model was produced until 1974. I received my copy in good condition, but without the entire plastic part of the rear brake lights. I had to redo this part. I did it with LEDs. In addition, I also introduced front lighting, which was never present in this model. LEDs consume much less electricity than incandescent bulbs, but require a higher voltage. That's why I replaced the 1.5 V batteries with three coin cells, and to further improve the poweron function, I used a Switch. I also made the box in accordance with the original.
