Lovely soil fertility, no mess no smell. Direct Composting is the simplest composting method for small gardens and works fast to improve your soil fertility.

Bury kitchen scraps directly in your garden borders or vegetable garden to make compost right in your garden soil. This is the most straight forward and easiest way to make compost. No turning, no heaps, no mess, and an instant solution to kitchen waste.

Direct composting works well for all peelings, tea bags, and coffee grounds, banana peel, apple cores, and a some paper, eg kitchen towel or egg boxes. Eggshells, hole onions, and citrus take a little longer, but no more than in a hot composting system. Avacodo pips and whole potatoes will tend to sprout, even when buried 1214inches below the surface. This method will directly feed worms and will increase the numbers in your garden soil

The best time to direct compost in the vegetable garden is after a row is harvested, in a flower border you can use this method in any free bit of soil, but avoid digging too close to established or growing plants and shrubs. Do not plant anything until the organic matter decomposes. The exception to this rule is potatoes which can be planted immediately above the Keep the area moist to provide perfect conditions for earthworms. You will surely create worm casting right in your garden.
