Jody McIntyre is a candidate for Parliament under George Galloway's Workers Party of Britain.

He is the sole independent candidate running in the BirminghamYardley constituency, located in the city of Birmingham, England, against the Labour Party's Jess Phillips, who is a member of Labour Friends of Israel and is likely to become a minister in the new government, if she wins reelection BirminghamYardley. Jody has cerebral palsy and is a lifelong activist, focused on Palestine, disabilityrights, and education. He converted to Islam as a young adult and has lived in Palestine multiple times, including being there on the day of the October 7th attacks. In 2010, he was the subject of nationalnews coverage when he was dragged out of his wheelchair by police multiple times while participating in mass protests against budget cuts and tuition hikes.
