In this video we travel from Japan to Dubai for a 'layover' before continuing on to Portugal.

We had never really considered spending more than a few hours in Dubai and we wanted to see whether extending for a couple of days in this 'travel hub' was worth it. What we discovered was an amazing travel destination that can be experienced in a relatively inexpensive way!

We discuss how to get there (and how we got there cheaply on frequent flyer points), how to get around the city and where we stayed. We also take you through our choice of destinations with Dubai (and a very special place to visit outside the city that may surprise!!). We take the guesswork out of your next travel destination and answer the question 'should you have a layover in Dubai'.
