Debra is a secondyear Ph.D. student at Case Western Reserve University studying bioethics. She holds an MA in bioethics from Ohio State University, an MSc in Public Health from Lund University in Sweden, and BAs, also from Ohio State, in Women’s Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and Communications. Debra’s research work includes reproductive health disparities in LGBTQ+ communities, inequities in mental healthcare for transgender persons, and ethical practices in the medical care of intersex children.
