I have just arrived from Bath along the beautiful Heart of Wessex Line (do check out that video) and now I thought I'd see what is left of the old Weymouth Harbour Tramway.

If you are as old as me, you'll remember when trains were still shepherded through the streets of Weymouth along the tramway to the station at Weymouth Harbour. There, passengers would have an easy transfer across the platform to the awaiting ferry. As I recall, ferries would depart from Weymouth to the Channel Islands and also to France!

Of course, the days of the boat train are now long gone and the last enthusiast special went down the line in 1999 (I think). So what is left?
