Scotland Tonight hosted a special discussion panel on the challenges deaf children face and what support is needed to help them thrive.

STV News reporter KellyAnn Woodland, Mark Ballard from the National Deaf Children’s Society and Rachel O’Neill, who's a senior lecturer in deaf education at Edinburgh University and a former teacher of the deaf gave their opinion and their own personal experiences on the subject.
