Attempt to repair a JVC HRS8600EK, which is a fairly sophisticated SVHS machine which includes TBC (timebase corrector), dynamic drum assembly and a "time machine" in the audio system. However it's a very cost reduced construction which makes it hard to work on. We don't exactly repair it, so much as strip it down, reassemble it, and admire how it seems to work just fine!
