A few months back we bought tickets to run the Disney world half marathon. While we hadn’t anticipated training for a marathon anytime soon, we had plenty of time to safely and responsibly train for a half marathon. However, life happened and our carefully curated training plan was wrecked when unrelated sports injuries flared up again, not to mention life in general got busy — or, well, I guess I mean for a little less busy seeing as we took a 10 day vacation to Maui just before the race.

No matter, we had these tickets and we weren’t about to let them go to waste. Disney marathons aren’t exactly cheap. So, this weekend we’re seeing if it’s possible to run every step of a half marathon with little to no training

If you’ve been around for a while I know you’re rolling your eyes thinking, “do they ever train for any of their bad ideas?” And yes, yes we do. I promise. Somehow we only manage to capture our bad ideas on camera. So here we go again and another Challenge that would probably be a lot more fun if we put in the training required. Oh well, let’s go!
