Disney/Buena Vista filmreel bumpers

Yeah, you've probably seen them all before. But there's something different about this compilation of the "filmreel" bumpers used by Disney and its' associated labels (Touchstone, Hollywood, Miramax, Dimension and Buena Vista) from 1999 to 2006. See, all the other compilations of these are... bad. Horrible quality source footage, random organization, and often fake bumpers are added in. I enjoy the aesthetics of these bumpers the flat music, simply graphics and visuallypleasing look, not to mention the distinctive music (created by Musikverneugen, the people behind the Intel jingle and the 2009 Scripps news music package). I grew up with them on various VHS tapes and DVDs, so I decided to do it myself. The video is organized into multiple sections:

0:00 The "Previews" bumpers only used on demo/screener tapes.

0:11 The "Coming Soon" bumpers, including the variants used on the widescreen DVD release of Cars (which I suspect were prototypes for the "color" bumpers Disney began using shortly after).

1:27 The "Now Available" bumpers, including the rarelyseen "Now in Theaters" bumper.

2:50 Miscellaneous bumpers, typically used for promoting stuff put on VHS tapes after the main feature. (And if you're thinking the "From Playhouse Disney" bumper is a fake, it's not. It was only used on one DVD release of Roly Poly Olie.)

3:50 The Feature Program and Feature Presentation bumpers. Sadly, never used on DVD so there aren't any goodquality versions. Oh well.

Some bumpers are missing, typically because I simply couldn't find a highquality source (ie. not being from a phone pointed at a TV screen); I also left out the international versions of these bumpers since finding their sources would also be a pain. The Sneak Peeks menu Disney used from about 2004 to 2009 on DVDs is also absent, since they're well documented elsewhere and they aren't actually bumpers; they're menus themed after these bumpers.

The filmreels, it should be noted, only came about by the tailend of 1999, but it was clear Disney was looking for a new set of bumpers by 1998; the flashbangs had been supplemented by several "zoomin" bumpers (using "Great Ovation", the 1989 Feature Presentation music), and most major Disney VHS releases in 1999 used custom bumpers with the voiceovers from these ones. Perhaps most interesting was the VHS of The Lion King 2, which used custom blueandgold bumpers that were clearly prototypes for the filmreels.

You can also tell the difference between the regular filmreels and the later/"addon" ones; the fonts don't match, the sliding text in the gold bar lacks the little "motion trails", etc. They also inexplicably chose to create a different set of bumpers with graphic equalizerstyle background graphics, brighter colors and a general "hip" aesthetic, which only got used on kidoriented action releases from BVHE and Miramax (typically Power Rangers and Marvel content).

Finally, I've turned off the comments so it won't be flooded with useless garbage like so many other logo videos are now. Thanks for watching.
