On the momentous date of May 5, 2005, the splendid commencement of The Happiest Homecoming on Earth ceremony was heralded with a heartfelt dedication by the thenDisney CEO, Michael Eisner. The festivities were brimming with joy and excitement, featuring dazzling fireworks and stirring speeches from Julie Andrews, the esteemed ambassador for the 50thanniversary celebrations, and Art Linkletter, the original TV anchor for the opening day broadcast. Musical enchantment filled the air as Christina Aguilera graced the event with a soulful rendition of "When You Wish Upon A Star." At the same time, LeAnn Rimes charmed the audience with the 50thanniversary theme song "Remember When," a masterpiece composed by Richard Marx.
