This DIY bird feeder project is just a mashup of ideas I found online and the plans I had in my own head. I am stoked with how it turned out. I really suck at work shop projects, but this was really easy, so I think anyone can do it.
A couple pieces of 2 x 6, some rope, a glass canning jar, and a little bit of plywood if you want to add the roof.
