Fun and easy! In this DIY video we will take an ordinary men's thrifted flannel shirt and turn it into a whimsical, oneofakind flannel jacket or shacket. This tutorial will show you lots of different techniques that can be used in unison to create a beautiful piece of wearable art or take the ideas, along with your own, and customize a shirt to make it uniquely yours. Specifically, we will: make a patchwork design with scrap fabrics, make petite ruffles, bleach, dye, and create fabric collage butterfly appliques.
