My friend Alex needs to run power to his garage he is building for his microgreens business. We were lucky in that the soil was sandy, so we use used a conduit connection with some slots hacksawed into it for our drill bit. The shop vacuum worked great to suck the dirt out as we went. In more compacted soil, a pressure washer hose down the middle of the conduit would help break up the ground as you go.

It was a fun projects, and a satisfying one as quotes for this job ran from $3000 to $7000, and we were not sure our plan would work. I know this won't work in all soil types, but I hope this helps someone out who has a similar project in mind.

If you would like to subscribe to my friend Alex's channel, it is called "The Microgreen Jungle". It is about starting a microgreens business, but he will be posting some videos about his garage build process and I'm sure some other interesting DIY type content occasionally.
