diy Machine Skates built out of 3/4" thick plate and ball bearings.

Follow along as I build these machine skates to move the lathe and other equipment around the shop. Used a total of 8 bearings for each skate. Each bearing is rated for 830lbs static load for a total of 6640lbs per skate. Derate by 1/4 (sometimes you only get 3 of the 4 sets of wheels on the ground) and take off another 20% for safety margin. End up with around 3984lbs capacity.
