DIY Macrame Dream Catcher Wall Hanging Using Alternating Half Hitch Knot | Dream Catcher Boho Style Tutorial

Hi Macrame Lovers..

Come on, let's join Trini ID in making Macrame Dream Catcher Boho Style. The design is simple, I used a lotus flower pattern as the net on the hoop made using alternating half hitch knots as the main knot. I added wooden beads to the hanging part of the rope. I also don't forget to add macrame feather so that the boho style impression is strong.

The ingredients I prepared to make this dream catcher macrame are as follows:
1. 3mm cotton rope
The middle of the ring / net
1 thread x 180 cm
11 threads x 170 cm

The bottom of the ring
1 thread x 100 cm
2 threads x 140 cm
2 threads x 120 cm
24 threads x 70 cm

Feathers/leaves
14 threads x 15 cm

To wrap around the ring = about 500 cm

Total rope used = 50.60 meters

2. Ring diameter 30 cm
3. Scissors
4. Wooden Beads diameter 1.5 cm = 24 pcs
5. Fabric Glue (optional)


The end result of this macrame dreamcatcher measures: 30 cm x 60 cm

Knots used to make this macrame dreamcatcher: Lark's Head Knot, Alternating Half Hitch Knot, Double Half Hitch Knot, Square Knot.

You can use this macrame dreamcatcher as a wall hanging.
