To start off, thanks to the video sponsor: JLCPCB for sponsoring this project. JLCPCB Prototype for $2 (Any Color): https://jlcpcb.com/DYE
In this video I take a first step on a journey. Up till now I've soldered all my project prototypes by hand and while the process has served me well it also is very time inefficient. So let's see if solder paste stencils and hot plate reflow can save me precious time while also providing reliable prototypes. It's a bit of an investment in learning the process and getting the necessary equipment but after the two boards I've done so far I feel like it'll be an invaluable tool especially as I make much more compact designs and use chip packages like bga which are basically impossibly to conventionally hand solder.
