Hi. Here is a short presentation about this project (a kind of "poor man SiOnyx Aurora"), with using as a lens (for instance) a 35 mm/0.95 from MEIKE (MFT mount). Cmount lenses are also usable.
The few presented tests on my urban sky were performed last night (03/06/2021).
Some compressions bring resolution loss, sorry... :/ It is better IRL. ;)

Details are all in the description. It is just a frame, and depending on your own ressources and capacities, far better realisations can be obtained, based on CNC machine using, 3D print, whatever.... It is just food for thoughts, right here !

Next steps will be to integrate a little IR source (980nm) and to keep on doing tests, and comparison with this DIY monocular and the SiOnyx Aurora Pro.

Also i will try to integrate a cooling system for reducing the thermal noise produced by this little RNE3 camera, which get quite warm on a long using.

To be continued !

Thank you for watching and for your comments.
