【DIY】3D-Printed Visual-Guidance Surface-to-Air Rocket (Making)

The project aims to achieve precise targeting of a hovering balloon by a modelguided rocket through multistage navigation and target recognition technology. After the subsequent flight control code debugging is completed, an aerial shooting test will be conducted at an opportune time.
The target selected is a red latex balloon with a diameter of 1.5 meters, which will be stably suspended in a predetermined airspace by a quadcopter. The rocket will be launched from a ground launch platform.
Due to the limitations of the guidance camera's performance, this project adopts a staged guidance strategy. In the initial stage of the launch, the rocket will rely on an inertial navigation system (INS) and a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) for trajectory control. Once the target enters the effective recognition range of the camera, the system will automatically switch to visionbased terminal guidance.
The rocket is powered by the selfdeveloped CPSRMR30A micro solid rocket engine.
