Here is a walkthrough of my method for setting hot cues in my tracks in order to help me mix at events. It allows me to have a base level of configuration for all of my music that I'd like to mix, which gives me lots of flexibility at parties and weddings. I show 4 different tracks with different qualities, and how I set them up with my simple hot cue / marker system. I explain along the way some tips and tricks that will be helpful for beginners but also could benefit someone with intermediate skills too.
