A song from the period of the German occupation, written in September 1939 by Julia Ryczer to the music of the grandfather. The text was written after the death of Anna Maria Ryczer (the author's daughter) during the air raid on Warsaw.

The song quickly gained popularity, especially among Warsaw singers. Julia Ryczer, as the author of an uncomfortable song, was wanted by the Germans she was sentenced to death. Huge punishments fell on singers who dared to sing or chant it did not deter Varsovians from singing.

Piosenka z okresu okupacji niemieckiej, napisana we wrześniu 1939 r. przez Julię Ryczer do muzyki dziadowskiej. Motywem powstania tekstu była śmierć Anny Marii Ryczer (córki autorki) w czasie nalotu na Warszawę.

Pieśń bardzo szybko zyskała popularność zwłaszcza wśród warszawskich śpiewaków. Julia Ryczer jako autorka niewygodnej pieśni była poszukiwana przez Niemców wydano na nią wyrok. Ogromne kary jakie spadały na pieśniarzy, którzy odważyli się ją śpiewać lub intonować nie odstraszały warszawiaków od śpiewu.
