Whats going on Youtube this is a question I see come up all the time. People want to know if camper shells leak. This is something I looked into when I was buying both of my shells the ARE CX Series and The LEER 100XR.

I recently purchased the LEER XR100 and so far it has been a great shell. I went through a few rain storms with the shell out but never really had the chance to see if the shell was letting water in. So I decided I would do a leak test when I was washing my truck to see how water proof the shell was. This is not super scientific but I think it gets the job done. I had this shell installed by the dealer I purchased it through and they did a very good job of sealing up the shell. The put a black putty to seal all of the holes and gaps in the truck and that seemed to help keep the water out. They were concerned with how water tight the windoor’s would be but I think they held up pretty well. I hope you enjoyed.
