डोडा में आतंकियों ने सेना पर घात लगाकर हमला किया जिसमें भारतीय सेना के 5 जवान वीर गति को प्राप्त हुए। इस घटना के बाद पीडीपी अध्यक्ष महबूबा मुफ्ती ने केंद्र सरकार पर हमला किया। उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार पर हमला करते हुए पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री और दिवंगत भाजपा नेता अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि उनके शासन में जम्मूकश्मीर में हालात बहुत ठीक थे।
