There is a debate in the credit card world on if the amount of cents you get per dollar redeemed really matters. There is one side that will only redeem their points at the absolute top value and then there is the other side who doesnt look at how many points is required as long as they don't have to pay out of pocket. In this video, I will go over some of the flaws of both of these ways of thinking and explain why I feel it is somewhere in the middle. Points have a value, so redeeming them for less than that is a bad deal. But if you only focus on top value, do you even care about the trip or is it all about bragging rights?
