The DOJ shared their thoughts today about the NAR settlement and it appears they are still not happy with the proposed changes. They want a complete decoupling of buyer and seller agent commissions and the settlement reach in the Sitzer/Burnett case does not do that. The big question is whether they will allow the settlement to proceed or will they intervene like they did in the Nosalek case and put in more restrictive policies making it harder for both buyers and sellers.
