The Ford F150 Platinum, Lariat, and XLT pickup truck throws a message on the dashboard by disconnecting the frontwheel drive from the 4x4 system when you need it most.
Apparently the new Ford trucks with the torque converter that comes with the automatic 4x4 (4x4A) has a factory fault by disabling the 4x4 when it is very stuck, which ironically is when you need it most.
