I've successfully used this brand for many years on acrylic primed canvas. It's a reworkable clear finish that prevents smudging of soft art materials like pencil and pastel. It's acid free, nonyellowing, and archival safe. IMPORTANT: If you're painting on something other than acrylic primed canvas, be sure to use the right fixative for your surface.
