Continuing our Ireland Trip, we rented a car in Dublin and started our road trip to Cork. We planned this leg of the road trip around a visit to Blarney Castle, and of course, kissing the Blarney Stone. We also wanted to tour the Jameson Distillery in Midleton (about 20 minutes from Cork) where Jameson and other whiskeys in the Jameson family of brands are made (RedBreast, The Spot whiskeys, Powers, Midleton Very Rare, etc.). On our way to Cork, we stopped to explore The Rock of Cashel, which was amazing and definitely worth a visit. We stayed at an Airbnb in the city center of Cork and hung out around St. Patrick’s Street for the evening.
