A playthrough of Acclaim's 1990 NES game, Double Dragon II: The Revenge.

Played through on the Shadow Master difficulty level.

Even though Double Dragon II on the NES was developed by Technos Japan, just like its arcade counterpart, it's an entirely different game. The mechanics are all pretty similar, but this one has an extremely frustrating couple of platforming sections that require nearperfect timing, and the moves can be difficult to pull off at times. Even still, I have some good memories of playing this one with my buddies around the old woodcabinet console TV using those ridiculous infrared wireless controllers. Really, those things felt like you were holding a copy of Moby Dick they were so thick.
