"Ajit Doval is a much better spook than me," Former Spymaster AS Dulat tells Barkha Dutt in the 27th episode of our podcast. "I had terrorists coming home."

Dulat has headed India's R&AW agency. In his memoirs 'A Life in the Shadows' he writes about the strategy of using money to engage militants and separatists in Kashmir.

Speaking on Inside Out, Dulat heaped praise on the present National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval and called him a "Perfect Spook". He also talks about his days in Kashmir & how the valley has changed after the abrogation fo Article 370.
