I have been excited to release this comparison between these two solid over the counter retinol creams! Both are nonfragranced, moisturizing and are similarly found in 1.7fl oz in a jar. Thank you to those who suggested that I compare the two! Overall, both are still recommended by myself and this was a tough decision for me on choosing one of them.


We all love retinoids for their antiaging benefits as well as antiacne properties. But which of these two affordable retinols "feel better" on the skin?

The prices of both are similar as well where Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair is around $2528 and Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 is about $28+. I will focus less on price but on the ingredients and sensorial experience based on consistency/texture of each moisturizing cream which are great for those with dry skin.

I know this involves subjectivity especially in my opinion on the texture but I hope that an overview of the ingredients will help guide you on which fits you better. Do not use either if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
