Typically, you see us sharing exclusive coverage of concerts, red carpet galas or artists interviews. But this time, we’re mixing it up by highlighting and learning about the music that is created under the ocean. Dr. Sylvia Earle (AKA: Your Deepness) released her newest book called, National Geographic Ocean: A Global Odyssey at a special event hosted by the Aquarium of the Bay.
In this book, she shares many of her interesting discoveries that she has explored during her thousands of hours under the ocean along with jawdropping photos from her (and other scientists') recordbreaking dives. One of the things in her book that resonates with us is learning about how animals communicate with each other, which is also known as the music of the ocean.
Unfortunately, there are several sounds interferences that we, as populous, have created via large shipping barges, drilling, boating, etc. But there are ways we can help! Click to find out how we can make a positive impact on the ocean, the amazing deep blue sea that truly keeps living each and every day.
