I've know Jay for years, we raced together clear back in the 90's! Recently, Jay took his original paint 1969 Chevelle SS 396 and his dad took his supercharged late model Camaro on the road for DragNDrive. Due to an extremely long and hot day, they did not make it to one of the hotels with extra security for the race cars. The hotel they did choose did have other DragNDrive cars in the lot, so they thought they were good. But, the next morning, both of the cars were GONE!

The Chevelle was recovered without the motor and trans and some other choice pieces, but the worst part was the body damage to a car that was still wearing its original hugger orange paint. The Camaro has not been found. It's a terrible situation and every gearheads worst nightmare, but at least the car was recovered and can be fixed.
