Today we Maiden the 12ft wingspan, 10ft long Dragon at the Arizona Model Aviators club in Mesa, Arizona. The Dragon is powered by a King Tech Turbine G120 series 2 . Running on Diesel, producing 27lbs of thrust . The Dragon has gain weight was around 40 pounds when it was a EDF now 50 pounds . I'm very happy with the test flight with the turbine . The dragon is nose heavy but better than tail heavy. We are going to build a lighter Fuselage and remove some nose weight. Hope to lose 10 pounds of weight. We will carve the head add spikes and air brushing . I would like to thank my pilot James Lashmett ,Team Horizon , Spektrum ix12 radio and Larry Nitso for helping me with the details of this build. We are going to build a light weight fiberglass epoxy fuselage and remove some nose weight.
