DRC’s Propel Endeavor PRO steering hack. I weigh 165 lbs, a refrigeration mechanic by trade and I wanted tighter steering on my new Endeavor PRO. On the first ride I could tell it would take a while to break in the steering rubbers so I drilled 22) 5/32” holes in the grommet at random spots on the front end and I drilled only 12) 5/32” holes in the rear grommet to keep it more stable. It turns a lot easier and gives me more room for adjustment. With the grommet being softer I can tighten the suspension screws more where before I loosened up the suspension screws all the way out and was still too tight. I would not drill the holes like I did but start with fewer holes, take it out for a ride and make adjustments until you feel the ride is right for you. If you go over board just fill the holes with silicone, use a different color silicone so you can see how many holes there are. When you first get the board take the trucks apart and thread lock the aarm screws front and back, very important. This board is a great long distance board with the pillow suspension to soak up the bumps. The board is a beast compared to my Evolve GTX which is a king at carving. Having both boards gives the best of both worlds, one to carve it up and one for higher long distance speed cruising. I practice by weaving in and out of driveway aprons making sure I cross them going front side and back side. Practice doing figure 8s so you get both front and back side turns in. Also practice moving your feet on the deck of the board side to side at slow speeds to get some harder turning. When riding look where want to go and set your feet up when approaching turns. Have fun riding, wear a helmet, gloves and pads. Cheers!
