This was intended to be a maiden and review video for the new Dream Flight Libelle Discus Launch Glider (DLG). A combination of factors made it a less than perfect outing, but I wanted to share any way.

The first and most significant issue I had was with the recommended servos. Right out of the box 2 of the 4 Hitec HS35HD Ultra Nano servos had significant issues with chattering, even during initial bench testing. I ended up using two GWS Pico servos in the fuse for elevator and rudder and used the two HS35HD servos that seemed OK in the wings. When we got to the field I found that one of the remaining HS35HDs was now chattering badly. There was no binding on the control surface or pushrod.

For the last few flights here I disconnected the chattering servo and flew with one aileron. This worked OK but it did mean I was unable to take advantage of different flight modes and mixing.

Before disconnecting the other aileron I did managed to catch one good thermal, but my cameragirl was entertaining our nephew at that point and we didn't get it on camera.

I've since ordered 4 of the Digital version of this servo and I'm hopeful those will have better performance. In the near future I'll get those installed and get a "real" review done.
