Join the drivers and firemen aboard the Great Western engines for live footplate action sequences as you've never seen before. A team of Great Western enginemen from the days of steam are reunited with their engines.
Part 2 of the video starts off with the Castle's which were one of the GWR's most produced express engines with 171 members of the class being built between 1923 & 1951. 4073 Caerphilly Castle is seen at Didcot being shunted by 5051 Drysllwyn Castle in the days before it later ended up in Swindon.
Other classes of engines featured in the video include the 4200's/5205's, 4300's, Kings & Manors plus much more.
